The main part of the unit is our ‘Soap Opera’. A soap opera (or just ‘soap’) is an episodic story in dialogue form. It follows the life of some characters through a period of time. You must have seen one of those on TV.
Its primary goal is to teach you expressions that are used in everyday life by native speakers of English. Naturally, besides learning new expressions, you are also going to work on your grammar too. (You won’t skip that, oh no:) In this unit, among other things, you are going to learn about the uses of the verb ‘be’ , the different uses of phrasal verbs and how to form questions.
